I went to New York this past weekend for Fall Break. Even though I had a latent panic in the back of my mind at all times (shouldn’t I be reading? Outlining? Rewriting my memo?), I had a fantastic time nonetheless and it was absolutely the right choice. I’ll be doing a couple more detailed posts later, but for now, here’s a look at my three days in New York, in Instagrams.
Eating lunch at Eataly’s Birreria:
Watching the Michigan/Michigan State games at Brother Jimmy’s:
Drowning our post-game sorrows in 16 Handles fro-yo, and snapping a pic of a cool mural I found near Janelle’s apartment on the Lower East Side:
Seeing How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying, which really solidified my love for Daniel Radcliffe. And the boy can dance! High kicks galore. So jaunty:
Brunching at San Marzano (unlimited mimosas for $8? Yes please) and shopping in Soho at Uniqlo:
Shopping for sunglasses at Bloomingdale’s in Soho:
Eating dinner at Ma Peche and buying Crack Pies from Milk Bar aftewards:
Enjoying our Momo Crack Pies:
Buying coffee + doughnuts from Doughnut Plant for breakfast:
I’m so lucky to have so many of my favorite people in NYC; I’ll never run out of reasons to visit.
